Miniature Goldendoodle puppies or miniature English Cream Goldendoodle puppies are the hybrid offspring of a cross between two pure bred dogs; Golden Retriever and miniature Poodle, or English Cream Retriever and miniature Poodle. These offspring are F1 puppies - half Retriever and half Poodle. So, mini Goldendoodles are the best of both worlds....the great personality of the Golden Retriever and the intelligence and low shedding trait of the poodle.
Our F1 miniature Doodles vary in color from cream (English Cream) to dark red. Their coats are usually shaggy-wavy or shaggy-curly. They are low shedding, which is one reason Goldendoodles are so popular. However, an F1 puppy sometimes will shed the puppy coat as the adult coat grows, so shedding may be seen during that time span. Maturity weight of miniature F1 Goldendoodle puppies is largely dependent upon the size of the dam and sire combination, but is usually around thirty pounds.
Most of our puppies are F1b, which means they are 1/4 Retriever and 3/4 Poodle. These puppies usually have curly or wavy coats that are very low shedding, making them allergy friendly. Again, maturity weight is primarily determined by the size of the dam and sire combination, but most mature around 20-25 pounds.
